The Passing of Beth Burton

Our beloved member, Beth Burton, passed away on Monday, May 13.  Beth had battled her illness for some time and while attending our Christmas party last year she shared she was entering Hospice.  As evidenced by this photo taken at our party she could not have looked more full of life.  Her spirit was monumental, always full of love for life.  Beth touched our Kings Ridge community with her beauty, dancing, bridge playing, excitement and wonderful warm nature.

My earliest memory of Beth and Bill was when they hosted the Midwest Club’s annual Christmas party in their home in 2019.  The living room through to the lanai was sparkling with decorations and tables set up for a traditional sit down dinner for 30 members! The beautiful table settings, special napkins folded into bows, place cards, wine glasses, music, games that she led, and special presents, no detail was overlooked all with such warmth and grace.  The event was most impressive and, as a new club member,  I’ll never forget it.   A few months later at our Spring get together Beth proudly showed recent photos taken of her riding a camel during one of her and Bill’s travels.  Beth loved life and she and Bill lived it to the fullest!

Bill would like to share there will be a Mass at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Clermont, on Friday, May 31st at 11am.  A Celebration of Beth’s life will be held in the social hall immediately after.
