More than 80 members and guests attended the Kings Ridge Midwest Club’s annual spring pool party held this year in “Margaritaville” on the evening of April 14th. In true Jimmy Buffett fashion, the assembled “Parrot Heads” had a relaxed and casual fun evening! Hosts Brenda & Dave Czech and Brenda Fryers & Tom Bellehumeur kept the party rolling with lots of “Cheeseburgers in Paradise” from the grill, along with other tasty dishes provided by the members. New club members, Cliff & Judy Fisher, and Dick Bossow & Mary Jo Brown, entertained with a selection of perfectly themed island tunes. More entertainment came later as Ginny & Tom Cortese, Brenda Fryers & Tom Bellehumeur, and Brenda & Dave Czech serenaded us with a very funny rendition of “Cheeseburger in Paradise.” The club warmly welcomed many new members. The evening ended with a sing-along of the folk song “This Land Is Your Land” led by Mike Cunningham.
