Fall is back at Kings Ridge, and the Midwest Club marked the occasion the way they do best: together, and with lunch.
\nThirty-six members made the annual trek to Miller\u2019s Ale House and picked up right where they left off. After a summer pause, the room had that familiar buzz\u2014old friends catching up, new plans already in the air.
\nPresident Shirley Cunningham brought everyone up to speed on the season ahead, including the club\u2019s first-ever Oktoberfest on October 3. Expect pretzels, a little polka spirit, and plenty of neighbors who never need much of an excuse to celebrate.
\nMarian Knorr, the club\u2019s unofficial historian with a camera, was there as usual, making sure the afternoon didn\u2019t vanish with the last plate. Check out all her photos below.
